Sophia Simpson is part of the team at The University of Alabama Chi Alpha. Originally from Georgia, she began school at UA in 2016 and became a part of the Chi Alpha group her first semester on campus. For the first time in her life, she saw God was someone to have a personal relationship with, not just know about, and found a community of believers who would come alongside her in her walk with God. She gave her life to the Lord, became a small group leader, and went with Chi Alpha overseas on multiple missions trips. After graduating with a degree in Chemistry, she completed the CMIT Internship program with Chi Alpha. She saw the need for people sharing the gospel on the University Campus and decided to be a part of fulfilling the Great Commission at UA. She now serves full time as a staff member under Josh and Katie Ellen and is passionate about the word of God and discipling college students.
