Kellie has served as a missionary with AGWM since 2012. For the last 8 years, she has served in Costa Rica. She believes that the Lord has called her to “share the love of Jesus with the children of Costa Rica”. Along with a colleague, she has written a manual on how to implement kids church in the local church. Together with their team, they have trained over 21 churches. This past year they hosted the first ever national children’s leader conference where 65 leaders from all over the country were in attendance! It was a dream fulfilled. The desire of her heart is two fold. One is to train up leaders who have a heart to reach kids in their community. This is where the trainings and the Kidmin conference come in to play. It has been super rewarding to see a network of Kidmin begin to form where leaders can pull ideas from and pray for each other. The second part is reaching kids all over the country. Kellie, along with the Iglesia Infantil (Kidmin) staff, travel to all parts of Costa Rica doing kids crusades, VBS, feeding programs, and evangelistic events. They have see the hand of God move in incredible ways. Some of the goals for the next term are to host more national Kidmin conferences, train even more churches, and continue forming a national Iglesia Infantil staff. The vision of Iglesia Infantil is that “each child in Costa Rica experiences the presence of God, grows in the Word of God, and shares the love of God”. She is eager to raise the funds she needs to be able to get back to the country she loves so very much.
