Jay and Alicia Bonner have been married for 17 years and have 2 biological kids and 1 adopted: Lewis (8), Connelly (5) and Henley (4). They have invested their lives in making a difference in the next generation through pastoral ministry, and now are doing it as Alabama missionaries to foster/adoptive communities. They help train and equip communities as a whole to understand the effects of trauma and to love foster/adopted kids to a place of healing. With homelessness, imprisonment, and sex trafficking being so closely tied to the fate of these kids, they believe the local church is the hope of the world and by working together, streets can be cleared, prisons emptied and human trafficking crippled. Statistically, the odds are stacked against these kids, but all it takes is one caring adult relationship and the love of Christ to make all the difference. They are committed to everyone becoming somebody’s someone.
